Product details
POLYALUMINIUM CHLORIDE (PAC) is a modern coagulant/flocculent widely used in transforming raw water into clean and safe water for human consumption and industrial usage, including recycling of treated waste water.
It is commercially produced by reacting pure hydrated Alumina in a specially designed glass-lined reactor under controlled conditions at high temperature and pressure. As Aluminium portion of the product becomes more and more polymerized, it results in higher cationic charges and increased performance capabilities.
PAC is characterized by its low impurity contents, high coagulation ability, stable physical properties and durability. PAC has been established to be far more effective, economical and eco-friendly than traditionally used coagulants such as alum, ferric sulphate, ferrous sulphate, ferric chloride etc.
Polyaluminum Chloride (PAC) is one of the most efficient water treatment chemicals utilized today. It is widely used in both potable water and wastewater treatment because it provides high coagulation efficiency and it has the widest pH and temperature application ranges compared to other water treatment chemicals.
GRADES OF POLY ALUMINIUM CHLORIDE
LIQUID
WATERE TREATMENT.
ACIDIC PAPER SIZING.
NEUTRAL PAPER SIZING & EFFLUENT TREATMENT.
ADVANTAGES OF POLY ALUMIUNIUM CHLORIDE:
WATER TREATMENT
Coagulates very effectively in low as well as high turbidity water.
Enormous saving in consumption of treatment chemicals & labour cost.
Significant sludge reduction
Low residual aluminium.
Less reduction of PH as compared to alum.
Consumption of liquid is 40-60% & powder is 20-25% of solid alum.
More effective in cold water also.
Rapid & better floc formation.
Improves filterability.
Simplifies plant operation and easy handling.
Less ionic load in demin plant.
Highly stable.
PAPER INDUSTRIES
Improve paper brightness & strength
Enormous saving in chemicals, power consumption and labour cost.
Less colour reversion in paper sheet.
Sulphate free environment.
Less deposits on machine.
Significant reduction in scaling & biological slime.
Reduce brittleness of paper sheet.
Optimum utilization of alkaline filters.
Improves productivity.
